Maria Dimitriades is a Ph.D. student in Reto Huber’s lab under the supervision of Miriam Gerstenberg. She is interested in the intersection between basic sleep research and psychiatry. She works with electroencephalographic data from typically developing children and adolescent populations, as well as clinical populations who are on the psychosis spectrum.

Alejandro Osorio-Forero did his Ph.D. in the group of Prof. Anita Lüthi at the University of Lausanne working on the noradrenergic control of NREM sleep dynamics. Currently, he is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Sleep and Cognition at the Netherlands Institute of Neuroscience in Amsterdam. He works in translational neuroscience with a focus on the neuromodulatory mechanisms underlying hyperarousal during sleep. He is part of the SYSWCN board since 2022.
